Library Support

The current annual operating budget is funded by the town, state grants, interest from trust funds, and donations from the Friends of the Library.  In addition, the library also relies on donations received from it's many friends and supporters.

The Friends of the Eastham Public Library
Organized in 1973, The Friends of the Eastham Public Library raise funds to provide materials, programs, and services that would otherwise not be available given the library's limited budget.  The Friends sponsor annual book sales, a variety of programs for adults and for children, and a newsletter that is mailed or emailed to all Friends members.  Membership forms are available at the main desk or at any program sponsored by the Friends.

Many companies will match gifts made by their employees or former employees dollar for dollar.  Some companies will do even more! If you work for, or worked for a company that has a matching gifts program, we would greatly appreciate a matching gift for The Friends of the Eastham Library—a non-profit organization.

Trustee Gifts
The library is always delighted to receive gifts from appreciative patrons or from those who wish to increase or add to the memorial funds under the control and direction of the library trustees.  These funds provide a vital source of stability for the library.
