How will a new library enhance Eastham? To describe enhancement, one has to visualize the fabric of our daily lives that is tangible, measurable, perceptible, and, perhaps most important, intangible. Tangible – Look at the plans for the building. The setting and the building are classically characteristic of Eastham. Measurable – Growing use and/or availability of resources including books, computers, digital media, adult activities, children’s activities, etc. are all measurable. Intangible –The true promise of what an up-to-date, safe, secure, accessible and viable facility can, will, and should be for us, our children, our visitors, and for the generations yet to come.
